Evaluation 7: What do you feel you have learnt in the porgression from your preliminary and the full product?

Before                                                                                           After

Between these front cover pictures I realised that I had to think of a better pose that the model will be doing in order to attract people into buying my magazine. I also realised that I needed to have better lighting in order to make the front cover look more attractive and eye catching. I also developed in my editing skills as I got rid of blemish's which made my front cover look more professional.

Between these titles I realised that I needed to use a better font which will make the title stand out more. I also used a drop shadow effect which anchored the image and made the title look more 3d which made the front cover look more attractive and eye-catching.

Between these pull quotes I decided to use a more attractive and bright colour so the text stood out more whilst looking attractive too. I also put the pull quote in my final magazine look more attractive by putting it into a box on the corner of the page so it stood out whilst not being in the middle of the page and looking out of place.

Between these info sections, in my final magazine I decided to use a better font and colour so it matched the house style fully. Also I used a drop shadow on the text so it anchored the image and it also gave the text a 3d effect which made it look more professional and attractive.

                      Before                                                                             After

Since I did my first contents page I included a lot more information in my final magazine contents page. I also developed my editing skills so I made the pictures look more professional. I also added more description and information into the my final contents page and this made it look more professional and well organised. I learnt this by looking at real magazine contents page and taking the conventions of them and applying them to my own contents page. I also learnt to use the rule of thirds more effectively and this lead to my contents page looking more professional and well-ordered which would attract the audience to buy my magazine as they know where to look for what they wanted because it is professionally laid out.
