I used this picture
as my front cover because it had good lighting and it was vibrant which was
what I was aiming to make my front cover page look like.
I got the model to do
this certain pose because it is eye catching and it looks professional yet
different which were the conventions that I wanted to use throughout the
magazine.
I also got the model to stand in front of a white background
so the colours would contrast with it perfectly. This allowed me to have a
plain background yet still have the vibrant colours shown through the model
which makes all eyes on to the model.
This was one of my pictures for my contents page. I used it
because it thought that it looked appropriate to use for a contents page
feature.
I think that the lighting was good because it really made
the model stand out. Also I got the model to stand in front of a white
background so that her blue hair would contrast against it and go for the
vibrant look.
I also used this as a picture to go on my contents page
features because it thought that it really worked with the pages style.
I got the model to play the guitar and smile so that it
could show what kind of music/genre is included inside of the magazine which
was an alternative genre. I thought that this was good because it allows the
readers to be able to quickly look at the contents page to see what music my
magazine was based around.
I also used this as one of my pictures to go on my contents
page features.
I chose to have the model lying across the piano so that the
reader could get a quick insight of what kind of people is included in the magazine
and by getting the model to do this it showed what kind of personality she has i.e.
‘daring’. I thought that this picture was appropriate to use alongside the
other pictures as it looked good when I put it all together on my contents
page.
